Dwight had his ego which he couldn't overcome. If he didn't get the touches on offense he wanted, he wouldn't get max effort on defense.

Yep. And Ennis is out of the rotation with Bev back. I have to believe the Rockets thought D Mo was a lock to come back when they made this trade.

Dwight wanting more touches was allegedly one of the reasons he and James didn't get along. He could have been a monster in the pick and roll game but decided he didn't want to do that.

Like a needle in a haystack, I actually saw a good post on Clutchfans that pointed out how if Dwight had submitted to play how Clint is playing, he could've had some of the best numbers of his career. Glad to have a dude with no ego like Clint.

Yep. Wouldn't expect him back, possibly ever in the NBA. Dude is trying to bargain with, uh, no actual bargaining power.

Wants more money than players better than him despite having a back that could end his career at any moment.

Not having D-Mo turned out to be a blessing. It opened up time for Dekker to play the 4 who could turn into a really good player. He is way bigger and athletic than I thought. If he develops a consistent 3 point shot he could become a real match up problem.

Other than the monster numbers James is putting up running points beard I think Dekker is the most pleasant surprise this season so far. He is a lot more athletic than I previously gave him credit for.

For me it is Clint all the way. Over the last 7 he's averaging 16-9-3 while shooting over 63%. That isn't All Star #s, but that is exactly what you need from your center on this team with guys like Harden, Gordon, Anderson, & Ariza scoring who outside of James's 30 a night they can give you a solid 12-15 nightly.
