Bleacher report saying Paul George is high on the rockets list. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm not crazy about him. Perhaps it was playing along the ultimate ball hog stat monster but I just don't think he's as good as everyone else I guess

Paul George is the best three-and-D player in the NBA and would be a perfect fit for the Rockets. He's the reeeally rich man's Eric Gordon.

Didn't realize he was that good of a 3pt shooter. He'd be great in the switch everything defense
But also turns the ball over more and is more of an iso player.rvk246 said:MosesHallRAB04 said:Head Ninja In Charge said:

He's basically a taller Klay Thompson who can dribble the ball and make passes.
That's usually the case when you can actually dribble the ball. He still averages half the turnovers that LeBron, Russ, and Harden average.Hickory High said:But also turns the ball over more and is more of an iso player.rvk246 said:MosesHallRAB04 said:Head Ninja In Charge said:

I highly doubt we let Capela go. The most reasonable situation to get Lebron to Houston is the same way we got CP3. Lebron opts into his last year, we trade Anderson+Gordon+fillers. Pretty terrible deal for Cleveland though.
He's really more than a 3&D player. Very talented all-around all-star player. Big thing with him is you can play him at 2, 3, or 4. Or if you match up with GSW's lineup with Draymond at C, I don't see why you can't play PG13 at C, too.Head Ninja In Charge said:

Big Chinese guy is unguaranteed at 1.4mm. So easy cut for space, unless you don't think you can get 22 points on 6 of 32 shooting and 14 fouls to replace him from anyone else.Ryan34 said:
I think you're missing the big Chinese guy.
I think the Rockets will try to convince Lebron or George to opt into the last year of their deal. Then they can keep basically everyone except Anderson, Gordon, and non-guaranteed fillers. Plus, wouldn't they keep the MLE too?

Not if they wanna engage tank mode.
While Anderson's contract is bad it's perfect for a team that is tanking and needs to spend money but also have it off the books in 2 years.

Get a team to take Anderson+Gordon and give you a top 55 protected 2nd rounder back

Disagree completely. If you have Harden/Paul/Bron/Tucker, Gordon isn't nearly as important as Capela and Capela is much harder to replace.TXAG14 said:
I'd rather keep Gordon over Capela. You can go out and find a center for a good price that will work in our system. Gordon is a 6th man that will be hard to replace.
