Officially done with the nba. Absolutely love the rockets. They were my childhood and always been my favorite pro team even over Texans and Astros but I'm officially done.
Warriors have the impossible. They have the best starting 5 lineup in the entire league.

Im checking out this year. LeBron went to LA for a retirement package. Had he gone to Philly, Boston, or Houston. There would be a chance.
But that starting 5 may be the greatest line up ever. All are in their prime. All are young enough to stay for another 5 years. Who wants to watch this?

I agree, but situations like KD and Cousins have created a cycle. As one or two leave, others will want to come in. Cousins accepted bench money to essentially just show up in the play offs.

If I were Thompson or Green I would probably stay in GS with a salary cut. They will make more through endorsements and they are part of something historic. This is prehistoric Celtics level stuff, only there are 30 teams instead of 8.

This is what happens when you give too much power to the players at collective bargaining. The NBA has turned into a league where the entertainment derived comes from the off-court feuds and knuckle-head antics of its players and not from the actual play.
I don't watch the NBA during the regular season because the players don't try/care. I didn't watch any of this years playoffs because it was obvious the warriors were going to win. There is no reason why anyone who wants to be entertained would watch this trash league.

If the league blocked the Paul trade a few years back, this doesn't seem like a stretch. It's just horribly anti-competitive and removes all drama from the season.BMX Bandit said:

It's an ENORMOUS leap from blocking a trade to telling a player he can't play ina certain city for a discount.
Will each player get a list of teams they are allowed to play for when free agency begins?
