MLB has the worst playoff format. NFL has a pretty bad one too. I think baseball would need a best of 23 or perhaps even more to find the "best" team in a playoff format. Alternatively you could go a straight league table format like European soccer leagues. NFL has one game "series" so its not very meaningful either.maca1028 said:
I was comparing the lack of parity in the NBA to CFB and the NFL. Yes, the eagles beat the Pat's last year but over the last few years in these 3 leagues there hasn't been much change at the top. MLB is the only league that's had a different champion each of the last 5 years.
