Well, IMO, they didn't get worse, but I am not sure they got better. I like Russ being younger and we get out from under Paul's contract.

So we give up terrible Paul contract and 2 firsts (the swaps seem insignificant imo) for Westbrook. Seems like a good deal to me.

I think Russ is more trade-able as an asset than CP3. If it doesn't work out, it would be easier to get some ROI out of him versus what you would get trying to move CP3. Good thing the Thunder are tanking. I wonder where they move CP3 next?

Yep, that is my thoughts as well. I honestly don't think going back as is was the way to go. Paul has shown that he has dropped off, still a good player, but not worth the contract.
