I think this was a really good move. CP3 was washed up. Every 3 he took last year looked like a little kid desperately trying to get his shot to the rim. His legs were giving out and he really couldn't guard anyone.

Westbrook may not be much better at this point in his career, but he is younger and I love his intensity.

I think James will make this trade work. He sacrificed in OKC and he will sacrifice again for Russ. Russ will give us instant attacking offense off the rebound and Harden will take over during half court sets.

This is fantastic. CP3 was gonna drag us down like a rock with aging.

This gives us a chance again.

This is interesting....

I like the trade for one main reason. James should not have to play as many minutes as the last few years. Russ will do what we expected Paul to do, allow James to stay fresh. I don't know if it will work, but it's better than keeping Paul's contact which was almost untradable.

He can agree to a lower buyout. Question is whether he will.

I don't see what incentive Paul has to give away tens of millions of dollars

I guess it depends on who OKC has right now they can build with. CPs biggest value to them will be experience and leadership to pass on.
