Harden probably is already a top 10 SG of all time. He's got an MVP and is putting up over 35 a game this season. I'm not saying he will be top 10 all time but of course he has real potential to be.

Davis is 25 and a 6 time all star. Saying that potential isn't there is ludicrous.

AD narrowed it down to Knicks, Lakers, Clips, and Bucks. Would not sign anywhere else long term including Boston. Looks more like Kyrie is out of Boston too.

If you're the Bucks...what do you do? You're in 1st place in the East, but you also realize you're not beating the Warriors as currently constructed...weird place to be in.

I think they'll be a player in the aftermath of player buyouts, however I'm not sure that any of the top 4 teams could add any other player they want from the rest of the East and beat the Warriors.

IMO, the only team beating the Warriors this year is the Warriors.

Lakers are offering Ball, Kuzma, Hart, Ingram, Zubac, Caldwel Pope and 2 first rounders for AD and Solomon Hill. If i was the Pelicans I would take that deal. Best one theyre gonna get. Bostons offer wont be as good considering AD will only be a rental player for them

Lebron is going to be 36 next year. Unless you think Ingram and Lonzo are going to take the largest leaps in NBA history from below average inefficient scrubs to Western conference all-stars, The Lakers are on the clock here.

The Pels are smart to fleece them. All the expectations and pressure is on Magic. Can they really afford to just throw this season away? Can Lebron plus Klay or (insert 3rd team all- NBA caliber guy here) win the the title with the kids who barely show any promise? Seems extremely unlikely.

Won't happen. They are better off standing pat and adding a top 20-30 player in the league that definitely will come this summer. Sending six players and 4-6 picks would decimate them regardless of LeBron & Davis. That would be complete and utter desperation (that every other team in the league and their fans want to see). Barring getting the #1 pick (Zion Williamson), the Pelicans will get no better offer than they've already been offered (which was too much anyway).

Also Lebron just turned 34 a little over a month ago. Won't be 36 until the next to last day of 2020.

Are we sure the Lakers are getting fleeced? I wouldn't bet my life on Ingram, Ball or Kuzma ever becoming an all star. When LeBron was out this year the Lakers have stunk. Just like they were bad last year with that same group. If they offer 4 future picks, how many of those picks will even be good? At least two of those picks would be when the Lakers have LeBron and AD, so likely in the 20's/upper first round. At this point the Lakers are offering quantity because they can't offer quality. The Pelicans are right to hold our for as many pieces as possible when there might be better quality pieces on the table in the summer.

Clipps just got miami's Unprotected 2021 first round pick in a trade with phili. AD to clippers? That pick is probably worth more than anything the lakers have to offer.

Those guys cleaned Golden State's clock on Christmas Day with LeBron going down in the third and had a 3rd Q lead at G.S. without him completely just last week. They also had a lot of injury issues last season and are having them again this year (which might be a valid point to lessen their value). They were 4th in the West the day LeBron went down even with significant missed time from Ingram & Rondo. They've beaten three of the top four teams in the West including Portland twice.

Did they play like crap last night? Absolutely! Is 75% of the team concerned about being traded any moment? Same. It shouldn't have an effect on play but they are human beings so it clearly does.

Of course the GM would say that but Kyrie's actions of late don't speak to someone sold on staying imo.

I really don't see the Celtics blowing it up for a 1 year rental for Davis. They are better off building around Tatum and Brown with Kyrie likely gone. I think the Lakers are in the driver's seat. Unless there is a 3-team deal that's in the works.
