Tillman handled it completely wrong, though. Get Morey to delete the tweet and send out an official statement later. All he did was pour gasoline on the flames instead of water. Now this becomes a story in our sports media instead of a five minute bit on a two rate talk show.

On the other hand **** the Chinese government and thank God I live in a free country where I can speak my mind and my organs aren't harvested due to my religion.

Until the NBA starts factoring wokeness into who wins the championship, I'd prefer if the front office stay out of politics especially if it affects their ability/willingness to pay the luxury tax. It's too bad that Morey hasn't learned from ESPN and Kaepernick that sports and politics is best kept separate.

Do the Rocket benefit directly from any sales in China? Isn't all merchandising and international TV revenue shared among all 30 teams?

If that's the case, Morey is costing all the NBA teams money AND Fertitta has a backdoor way out: make Adam Silver fire him.

I would continue to root for the Houston Rockets, i will definitely not be rooting for any team that is the Communist Rockets. As of now at least someone in the organization seems to have balls enough to say what is right, despite all the gobs of bloody cash, we'll see how soon that changes

Despite earning a hundred million dollars as a #1 pick and being an NBA star, Yao Ming lives in an efficiency apartment in a polluted mega-city, and doesn't even have time to shoot a game of horse, take a nice vacation, or enjoy his success. Always seemed like a nice guy, but if he wants to have his life run by the bankrupt philosophy of 100 years ago, he can have it.

Pop called the President of the United States a "soulless coward" and "pathological liar" and no one blinks an eye.

But Morey expressed support for people seeking democracy and less police brutality and there is international outrage.

It is absolutely ridiculous.
