I too was more encouraged than discouraged with last night's game. Yes, we should've won and played poorly down the stretch with Giannis out of the game but I really like the bench of Gordon, Chandler, McLemore, Rivers, and Thabo. Gordon's shots will fall at some point and I chalk it up to first game jitters. Russ was a dog out there even with his dislocated fingers. His speed and athleticism out in the open floor is something we've been missing in the past. Only thing Russ really needs to work on is the dribbling into traffic in the paint. There were a couple of times where he seemed out of control in the paint but as the season goes along, he will figure it out with this offense.
