I think people who pay attention enough realized nobody was beating the Lakers in the bubble. Russ played like crap but I didn't hear a lot about him being blamed (scapegoat). Must have been internally.

I don't think Wall is nearly the player Westbrook is, on the whole. However, Westbrook was an absolute liability in the playoffs. If Westbrook were a younger player and inexperienced, okay you get a pass. He's a former MVP and been in the league 10+ years, you gotta be earn your money when it matters.

Maybe Wall won't help win as many games during the regular season, but he will at least require teams in the playoffs to guard him. We should be building the team with respect to how it'll help us in the post-season. Westbrook is just not a post-season guy.

Wall is a better fit next to harden, just because he can shoot at least close to a leave average 3. No more of that garbage sag off westbrook to double harden crap

Harden is pretty much screwed here. Tilman might be cheap but he knows he has the power w/ Harden under contract. That leaves James in a S.O.L. situation. He can either (a) report and make the best of it OR (b) sit out and ruin his legacy. We aren't going to trade him for peanuts. If a great deal presents itself that you just absolutely cannot turn down for a disgruntled superstar then you take it. If not, **** it, your move Harden....

Not right now, but just wait. A player like James doesn't really lose value if he doesn't play. Eventually someone will be desperate and you can get something slightly more fair than if you panic traded him (See Hopkins/Texans).
