Weird, I had just turned it on and it was the very first play I saw too.
Lakers not making play-in? They sit in 9th with 25 games remaining, 3.5 games up on Pelicans in 11th.

There's no incentive for the Lakers to lose since all their picks are headed to the Southwest division. Their 2022 pick either goes to NOP (1-10) or Memphis (11-30). They don't even have their 2nd rounder (Spurs).amercer said:

It'll be interesting to see if Portland, without Lillard and CJ can catch them because they are gaining ground.
They're saying it's a mid-foot sprain and that he's out for 4 weeks (at least).
As far as talent goes, he probably has the widest array of skills of anyone that's ever played the position. He doesn't have anywhere near the skins on the wall to be in the Top 75, though.
