Basically giving away Garuba, Christopher, and Washington is a puzzling move. All those guys were first round picks and never even got a shot to earn their keep. Egregious misuse of those assets!

Weird mixed bag of transactions. We gave up on JC, KMJ, Ty Ty and Garuba for basically nothing in return and had to overpay a bunch of 2nd and 3rd tier vets.
This is pretty much the dark side of tanking. If you never end up with a truly elite player, you'll have to steadily repair your loser image while also shedding prospects before you know their true capabilities.
A ton of our future success depends on Ime being an elite coach.
Oklahoma City is acquiring Brooklyn guard Patty Mills as part of a broader deal through Houston, sources tell ESPN. The Thunder will receive draft compensation to take on Mills’ $6.8M expiring deal.

I think it is more of a product of the Rockets and Morey bowing to Harden and letting him dictate everything from the "superstar" additions (and substractions) to the team plane flight schedule.Quote:

-The #Rockets had a deal in place for Lopez agreed to and Lopez blindsighted them
-The ATL deal was agreed to to open up space for Lopez
Lopez went back on his word, the Rockets didnt want to do the same to ATL

First round picks don't amount to jack most of the time after the lottery.
The team had them under their control and knew weren't worth keeping. They weren't assets.

So catch me up: I'm seeing a lot of chatter on Twitter and Instagram roasting Jalen Green over some video(s) that either he posted or that surfaced of him. What is all the buzz, and is it something that I should care about?
I guess it is a good thing that Houston didn't guarantee them more than 200 million.Aggie09Derek said:
Dillon Brooks had 991 FGA in 2022-23. He shot 39.6%
There is only one player had a lower FG% on that many FGA.
……..
Fred VanVleet
39.3%
Knew about FVV's option.Aggie09Derek said:
FVV's 3rd year is team option though
DB's is front loaded a little and apparently the $80m is including some incentives

Got it
Will be interesting to see details. Not sure if all the incentives are public, do you know?
