The mavs were road warriors all playoffs until they played in Boston. We never figured out how to make shots or even really compete in Boston. It's almost like Boston is a totally different planet with different gravity levels. Several games we shot about 20% from 3 with lots of them being wide open.

Kyrie played awful every game in Boston.

Boston this year is one of the best teams ever relative to their competition in a given year. Their NET and adjusted team efficiency rankings are both top-5 since the merger. They're the best team since the best version of the KD/Steph Warriors.

What they did to Dallas this series is what they've done to everyone all year long. They're just better, and nobody was beating them in a 7 game series this year. Theres no shame in losing because there was nothing Dallas could do other than hope Boston just collapsed.

Announcing is all about narrative not truth. A real crew would point out those fouls.

THJ is absolutely worthless on the defensive end. Trying to figure out why he's had so many 4th qtr minutes. He needs to be rocketed to the moon in the offseason.

Refs have been bad this game. Obviously a lot more to it than that, but it does not feel like the game has been called the same way on both ends. Seven more fouls on the Mavs at this point. A couple questionable traveling calls and out of bounds calls.

Pretty sure I said it's not the reason we're losing but it does have something to do with the margin. It's pretty obvious the refs have allowed Boston to get away with quite a bit and aren't calling it the same on the other end.

Yeah, I think the question would be is they all were taking turns doing it at times in the playoffs. Do you expect 1 or 2 of them to be better next time now that they've gotten a lot of experience?
Green is pretty young and has made improvements the last 2 year in that regard.
Or do you go and try to get someone And it makes everyone better relatively, if they get bumped down one spot on the roster

I'm not taking it out on posters. I'm not the type to get worked up over a basketball game. I'm just saying the complaining about refs is just a cope/silly. If you're getting beat by 26 in a game, it's not the refs impacting the game. There's a long line of problems to complain about before you get to some random reach in call or over the back that was missed. Half the calls y'all specifically complained about were not wrong.

Mavs got out rebounded by 16, they had 6 more turnovers, they shot 30% from 3 (after functionally garbage time shot making, was <25% when it mattered). That's why they got their butt kicked.

Anybody who wants to give Luka crap for this game is ok. He didn't come with it at all.

But they better have first said their piece about Kyrie. Kyrie no showed for every game in Boston.

If you want to talk about individuals then start where it belongs.

Also you know the effort was poor and Boston wanted it more because they had 16 more rebounds despite only making 3 more shots. Piss poor effort on the boards from the Mavs. Would have been nice to see some effort tonight…

He exists in more than a single year. They've been getting crap for falling short while making it close for a while. The entirety of this year was the response to those failures.

That said his attempt to get a KG moment by yelling we did it was corny as hell. Even KG's moment was corny, but people like him/he earned it by toiling away for 13 years before he broke through.

Oh yeah, super impressive to overcome all of that with a super team. Great championship, but next to GS, this was the most talented roster in nba history. Give me a break. They had enough to win a ship without this roster….with it, would've been one of the bigger disasters ever had they come up short again
