Here's one of the few I've considered sending in for grading, although someone told me recently I probably ruined it putting it in the screw down case.

Take it out and inspect it. Get a magnifying glass and inspect the edges, corners and surface, front and back.
If it looks perfect, wipe the card off with a micro fiber cleaning cloth. Do NOT send the card in with your finger prints, they're that picky.

If the card looks perfect, you've removed all the finger prints, cross your fingers you get a 9. 10s are really hard to come by on older cards. Brand new stock, straight from the pack, often grades a 9! Watch a Youtube vid on the proper way to mail off a card to PSA/grading service

With less than 10 seconds to go in the Ebay auction, I tried sniping this same card today. PSA 10 grade and all. I'm not sure what it would have taken to win it but I did one bid at $42.50 (I think) shipping was around $5, and it was at $38 when I made my move. I had no clue they made these. I was a fan of the original Garabage Pail kids cards back in the 80s and started buying packs again in the 2000s. The MLB version is pretty cool. Unfortunately they don't do a lot of different players.

I might go through all the sports photos I have taken over the years and get my pics autographed.

I just noticed that Costco online has what looks to be a pretty good deal on some Topps basketball cards.

I know Sam's has some Donruss nba cards in the store.

I have a bunch of Luka rookie cards I was thinking about getting graded.

OMG! 2023! I did not notice that when I ordered one! lol. I just naturally assumed it was current year. Oh well. Arrives today, I'll give a review.

Omg what a fail! I thought it was some nba cards and some McDonald's HS cards.

Not NBA, but Overtime Elite! I did get 2 Amen Thompson autographs, which according to eBay should more than recoup the cost of the order.

I did get a Bronny James card…so that counts for something right?!

Big collector here. Massive David Robinson fan and collector! Actually have several full Prizm Rainbows of his and thousands of different cards! Also collect all the Spurs in general!

I have lots of other cards too but they aren't my PC.

The Topps era is officially back. I should have a new hobby box waiting for me when I get home from work. Will report back.

Well, it was fun to open but got nothing great. The design certainly says "Topps."
I did get a base Flagg RC so that's good. A bunch of other RCs. The auto was some dude I've never heard of.
Got one #'d James Harden.
Got several retired players: Dirk, Bill Russell, a couple of Shaqs including a cool insert.

There was a bonus pack of 5 chrome cards, which are a cool design. I may hold off on buying more until the chrome boxes come out.

I've got two other buddies who got their boxes already - "biggest" rookie they pulled was also Cooper base. They must have printed a billion of those.

It kinda sucks pulling a no name auto when I see these YouTubers pulling nice, rare cards.
I know I'd be better off just buying individual cards I want rather than chasing the big ones that I literally never pull. But where's the fun in that?

Was a huge Magic Johnson collector, almost exclusively BGS. Pretty much stopped when Covid hit when the hobby went nuts. Did manage to get my holy grail Bird-Magic rookie BVG 9.0 before then though. Have the other three rookies in BVG 9.5 or 10 (these were all three-paneled cards in 1980).

My son and I bought a $12.97 hanger box of Topps from Walmart last night. Got a Flagg "Power Players" insert, 2 Dylan Harper RCs (one insert), and a Stephon Castle patch card. Much better pulls than the $200+ hobby box.

Topps Chrome is out soon so I'll probably pick something up.

Anyone interested in trading? I'm trying to whittle my collection down to Aggies, Dirk, Luka, Flagg, and Mavs in general. If there's a particular player or team you're into I am happy to part with most of my stuff.
If you want a bulk amount of a certain team I will send you a mix of 50-100+ if you cover shipping.

What kind of Mavs stuff are you interested in? Mine would be primarily all ungraded and circa 1988-2002.

Im seeing a bunch of PSA 10s in Midnight for $10,000. On Ebay

Im thinking I need to add a SGA card to my collection. I don't have any but I'm not a fan of his. I could also go with a Cooper Flagg., I dont have anything of his either. #WhitePeopleProblems

I'm pretty late to the party, but I recently started to collect cards again. I haven't opened packs of cards since I was a teenager, and obviously a lot has changed in the hobby. I don't really follow baseball the way I used to when I was younger, so will likely be collecting mostly NBA and NFL.

I bought the Topps Collectors Kit just to see if I really wanted to return to the hobby. While I didn't get any big hits, I have to admit that little rush you get when ripping a pack and the anticipation you get waiting to see what cards are in the pack returned. So I went to my local card shop and ended up buying a couple of NBA Flagship mega boxes. Of course, I had to pay much more than I would have a few months ago at launch, but given most of the inventory is no longer in retail circulation, there wasn't much of a choice. I did manage to get a Cooper base rookie, plus a couple of Cooper base inserts, but again, nothing big. But it was fun opening up those packs and checking out the cards.

I did decide to preorder three NBA Hoops value boxes. Given that the preorder window for value and hangers has been open for several days, it seems like this won't be a high demand set, though of course that may be good for a collector like me. Was also able to order four value boxes of the new NFL Chrome at MSRP on Target.com a couple of days ago. I live in Los Angeles and its a little trickier to buy cards at brick and mortar retail given the big box stores tend to be smaller footprint than in other parts of the country, so selection tends to be limited if they are even carried at all. Now I just have to keep my fingers crossed that Target actually fulfills my online order and the boxes are shipped without getting damaged.

Will be interesting to see if an update set will be released this summer for the NBA Flagship and/or Chrome sets. Otherwise, it will be a bit of a wait until the 2026 NBA Flagship set is released in the fall.
