I think most NBA fans that are actually still paying attention would be fine with an upset. Anyone I talk to who isn't from Oklahoma wants to see the thunder fail lol.

Oh I get that, I just meant that I don't think a lot of people realize what a historical upset this would be. This is the kind of upset that only happens in single elimination formats, not the series format. OKC has a +10.6 NET advantage in this series. Those sort of series usually end in 4 or 5 games.

The Pacers dominated the Thunder, especially when they outscored the Thunder in the 2nd and 3rd quarters by a combined 62-35, to force a Game 7. This will be the 20th Game 7 in NBA Finals history and first since 2016. The home team has won 15 of the last 19 Game 7s in NBA Finals history, but the last home team the Golden State Warriors lost Game 7 and blew a 3-1 lead. Still, I think the Thunder will win Game 7 to win their first ever NBA championship.

The stats may tell you that, but your eyeballs saw the Pacers in the playoffs, and know that they started the season 10-15. I expected a competitive series, even moreso after what Dallas did to OKC last year. Hope it's a great game 7.

Alex Caruso's success is without doubt the most unexpected achievement by an Aggie in pro sports in my 65 years of really following the Aggies.

If Haliburton did indeed tear his Achilles, that would be the 8th Achilles tear of the season. The previous high was 5 (14-15). The total doesn't include Thanasis Antetokounmpo who tore his in the offseason or prospect Jalon Moore who was injured in a recent pre-draft workout.
