So, it looks like the Cubs essentially take care of all of Pete's arbitration years plus two of his previous Free Agent years. ~$19M per year starting in 2027. Seems like a solid overall deal to ensure they have Pete for much of his prime.

he didn't live up to the on field production of the contract, but his leadership for the world series was worth every penny. Enjoy J-Hey!!!

I'll argue that Cubs are No 1 in the Division.

Reds and Cubs are both at 0.640 but Cubs are +43 in runs, Reds are negative.

I'd prefer Steve Bartman, rather than Steve Goodman.

I actually watched the thing happen live on TV in 2003. Wow, what a moment.

I have been trying to catch some of the episodes and it's awesome. Some of the stories they tell are eye opening and let you behind the scenes like I don't think many players share about in such detail. I am in the middle of the one with KB and it's just fun the relationship these guys had.
