Hindsight. Davis sort of sucked as a Ranger.

If Texas gets off his back about the strikeouts, maybe that mental block goes away.

If you've been keeping score at home, you'll notice the strikeouts havn't gone down since he became an Oriole and an MVP candidate...

Davis has said he needed a fresh start. He was trying too hard at Texas. The pressure to produce for his hometown team was too much.

Davis needed to completely get out of Texas...I just wish we would have gotten equal value in the trade.

Davis still can't hit when the Rangers are involved. He's got hometown mental block.

His suck is better than morelands great....better a strikeout than a double play, and better 158 games than 100....always like Davis better than smoak and Moreland

And I also wish I would have invested in Walmart and Microsoft stock when they were starting... and I wish I would have made a large pre-season bet on the Diamondbacks winning the World Series in 2001... and I wish I would have invented the smartphone in 1990... and I wish.....

Anyone saying they thought the Rangers should have kept Davis at the time either weren't paying attention or disingenuous. It's easy to say they should have kept a guy 4 years down the line when he is producing at a high level, but that just wasn't happening here.

I'd also like to see him hit when Texas is involved before I start having second thoughts.
