Would you rather be:

Elected 2nd ballot (this year) and get the 2 more votes needed to receive the absolute minimum 75%.

Or be a 3rd ballot guy (next year) and easily get in with like 85%?

Think I'd rather be in and done with it. Whenever they announce you at events, they'll say, "Hall of Famer Craig Biggio!" not "Receiving 75% of the vote, Hall of Famer Craig Biggio!"

In and done. No brainer.

I'm sure I'd want it over with, but in a way it might be cooler to go in neither this year nor next year but in '16 (with Griffey) or '17 (maybe as lone inductee, or with Bagwell/Piazza).

He'll go in next year, but will get third billing behind the Big Unit and Pedro. Maybe Smoltz too.

He could get hit by a car next month and never enjoy that moment. He's a HOF this year, last year, and next year. Complete BS.

asap. the ballot will be just as crowded next year with randy johnson, pedro, and smoltz. 2016 won't have as many first year guys, but then 2017 will have pudge, vladimir guerrero and manny. i think manny will be very intriguing on what the voters think/say about him.

Pedro is most likely going first ballot next year (don't think he should) what's the lowest amount of wins a starter has had and made it in the hall first ballot?

Sandy Koufax with 165, I think.

Pedro's WHIP, career ERA, and strikeouts are pretty impressive. I'm not sure if it's first ballot good or not, but it's hard to argue that he belongs.

Pedro put up top 5ish win totals for a decade while being the dominant figure over stretches therein in most other categories.

Borderline first ballot, might not do it myself but I won't complain either way.

If I'm Craig Biggio, I'm investing my BitCoins in hiring some assassins. Some of these writers treat the whole process as some kind of joke.

Having to wait another year just gives more time for steroid proof to surface...

Pedro had a Koufax-like peak run. I think he gets in first ballot.

I'm sure Biggio wants in ASAP, even if its at 75.01%. Well, maybe he wants something like 77% so he doesn't come up as a trivia question on who got in with the lowest percentage.
