I think they keep Kouz on the roster and DH Beltre quite a bit. They may use him at 1B against lefties.

It would be a great problem to have, but he'll cool off. In the meantime, as mentioned, it gives you some flex to let Beltre DH.

They asked him about it last night... he was pretty funny. Asked whether he thought he has made it tough on the Rangers about keeping him or not when Beltre returned... "I'm ok with it, either way."

He signed a minor league deal, so if he gets DFA'd... at 32, I suspect he can decline and become a FA where he is likely to get some decent coin.

I wouldn't be surprised if they try to skip him in the rotation. Not sure how all that will work... Harrison is traveling with the team out West.

I'd like to see Ross pitch his scheduled game in Seattle... then skipped May 2 @LAAA. For no other reason than to give his arm a rest.

I can't imagine they plan him to go more than 150 IP.
