This has to be a problem with our strength and conditioning program.. There's no possible way to have his many injuries without something being wrong there.
Really?
Remind me again the exercises one does to prevent their dog from knocking them down the stairs and blowing out their knee.
As mentioned, Martin Perez is likely the 35th MLB pitcher to go for TJ surgery this season. So this isn't a Rangers thing.
The Rangers have 13 players on the DL, 6 of those on the 60.
LAAA is the next team with 8... Cincy has like 6 or 7... the rest have less than 6.
Personally, I think it has some to do with the risk Texas has been willing to take on players.
Soto - Torn miniscus... I don't know how that is conditioning.
Scheppers has always been a health concern since he was drafted.
Kousmanoff - Missed 2012 and 2013 seasons because of injury, prior to joing Texas.
Figueroa (28) - picked him off the heap list in January... now getting TJ, as well. Not sure that is the Rangers problem.
You look at Nathan, Soria, et al, that the Rangers have signed trying to come back from injury. Colby for example... I think his hip has been a physical not conditioning thing.
