Gallo might be up in June.

The production of Ernest and Julio Gallo consumed in large quantities is going to be the only thing to help this season's outlook improve if Fielder is either done or stuck at his current production. Not some A ball playing Gallo, although I'm optimistic about that Gallo's future.

This should at least give them a reason to move fatass to DH and let the guy who is actually a better first baseman play first base. But they probably won't because playing the best guy for a spot isn't necessarily how Wash rolls.

Right, that is what Scott Lucas of the Newberg report has been saying. Gallo has been tearing it up lately, and has cut down on his strikeouts, but A ball is a long ways away from the bigs.

A MLB team physical isn't the same as you going to your doctor and turning your head to cough. If Prince had neck issues in the 2013 season, by all accounts it would have been mentioned or a cause discovered.

It sounds like both Texas and Detroit knew the players involved in the trade had potential health issues and was OK with the blind trade.

Its a legitimate question. Whether its the cause of the problems is not known. But, just to take on one matter, how many feel Fielder is better in his current condition than he would be if he were in shape?

You feel a little snake bit when you have:
3 guys with neck injuries (Fielder, Leonys, Murphy)
1 guy almost dies in a moto wreck
1 guy has a dog "supposedly" drag him down the stairs.

You have 14 guys on the DL with 8 going to the 60DL... all in the 1st third of the season.
