I find this hard to believe, since a simple phone call can manage a ST buy. Was it the first day of single game sales or something?

Not sure I understand the point in this. I just said I found it hard to believe there were enough people to "line up around the block" for season tickets that were waiting on the Rangers to hire a bench coach from an NL team that 98% of baseball fans had never heard of.

It just seems far fetched to me considering all my ST transactions have been done exclusively by phone and handled by the ticket office through fedex. I fail to find a reason why someone would make a trip to Arlington to make a transaction which the Rangers make so easy to do so without having to set foot there except for games.
