Funny that the Royals are making the freaking Orioles look like the Yankees in terms of public perception and being the sweetheart team.

Not sure I really have a rooting interest in this one. Should be a good series though.

It'll be amazing. This town is electric right now. 29 years bergen playoff appearances and they are making up for lost time.

I'm happy to see KC have so much success after such a long lull of losing. I'd be fine with the Orioles winning too. I just don't want either NL team to win. The Giants and Cards have had plenty of success.

I'm guessing our company president is a major Royals fan as we've basically been told that at 3PM it's game time......it will be on the 50' auditorium screen, all the break rooms, all the lunch rooms, etc.

I hope the Royals can maintain the momentum...but the Giants/Cards series that may go 6 or 7 may do them a disservice. Case in point, the 2007 Colorado Rockies.

The 07 Rockies would have been swept out of a best of 19 series. There were at least 4 and as many as 7 AL teams that would have soundly thumped them. It wasn't the layoff that hurt them, they just weren't good enough to win.
