I am helping coach a 13U group of boys this fall
question regarding the LHP inside move to 2B. now I know a LHP cannot make a 1st to 3rd move as a RHP can a 3rd to 1st as it would be a balk on the LHP for not disengaging the rubber and stepping towards 1st then not making a throw.
but can a lefty pitcher make an inside to move to 2b,without disengaging the rubber, opening his body up towards 1st base and rotating towards 2b??
TIA
