I think it was the DMN reported last week he was throwing from a half-mound.
He won't likely contribute anything meaningful until 2016.

He's started throwing off a full-sized mound this week. He's on track for a mid-season return. I just don't think the Rangers expect him to be the sharp Perez they saw last April immediately after he returns. But if he finds it for September. ... nice addition if the Rangers are in the hunt.
