I agree. Hate to see it happening, but I think he is getting tired too, as they try to stretch him out more and more each year.

Should have known it was going to be Royals and Blue Jays. Everyone is making a big deal about the Cubs and the Back to the Future II connection. The plot of the movie is set in 1985, with Cubs winning WS in 2015. Who played in the ALCS in 1985? The Royals and Blue Jays.

yes, some long suffering fanbase is going to win the championship.

obviously the Cubs haven't won the world series since 1908.

but for the Royals it's been since 1985. For the Mets since 1986. For the Dodgers 1988. And the Blue Jays 1993

After ALCS Game 2, we might have to give a little credit to the Royals line up and their ability to string together hits. Didn't see the entire game because I was going back and forth with the A&M/Bama game, but Price was dealing through 6 and then KC exploited a little misplay into five runs.

My gut predictions were entirely wrong except for the teams that made the ALCS, figures it happens at the expense of the two Texas teams.

While you can question Yost's decisions at times, he does have the entire club house believing not only in themselves, but in each other. They all buy in and celebrate each other's success.

Also, back to back WS appearances (with one title) tells me he's not even close to the worst on the list.

Don't follow either team enough to comment on their managers, but Collins absolutely blew that last night.

Put Harvey back out there, that's fine, but when he was all over the place with the first batter, you pull him right away.
