With daily interleague, I do think they should both play by the same rules all year. I'd settle for 100% DH during interleague. I think the fact AL starting pitchers hit once or twice per year is completely moronic. I also think its moronic that NL starters developed in collegiate and minor league systems where they rarely (or never) hit, but then after YEARS of little to no hitting have passed, they are asked to do it regularly. Silly good old day syndrome is the only explanation. It's bad baseball.

I don't remember where I read/heard this idea, but why not just have 8-man lineups? no DH, no pitchers hitting... just the position players

IMO this would mess with the symmetry of the game. Never get the MLB players association to approve a rule change that would do away with a high salary position.

Fat Ben's body shape reminds me of a couple of the more prominent DHs.
