It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of a Hays High School teacher, Mr. David Null. Mr. Null taught A.P. Chemistry and was our baseball coach. He passed away early this morning. Details regarding services will be shared once they become available from the family.

I had the opportunity to umpire his games over the past few years and always enjoyed visiting with him prior to games about baseball and A&M

David Null was one of the finest men I ever met. Loyal Fighting Texas Aggie. The Aggie Nation has loss a 12th man. He took me to my first A&M Football Game at Kyle Field. The energy was incredible. Loved his Texas Aggies and all his students knew it. Great AP Chemistry Teacher , Assistance Football Coach and Head Baseball Coach. Memorial today at the Hays HS Bales Gym at 6:00. The Hays Student Body is wearing A&M apparel today to honor him. He left an imprint on us all.
