Correct. You get 18 players total to keep, regardless of their classification.


Starting next year, minor leaguers will be an advantage, as they will only count as 1 point, until they gain the minimum number of innings pitched or at bats (I believe it is 30 IP or 100 AB)

Other players will cost you multiple points if you have kept them multiple years.

But starting next year you also increase the total amount of points allowable too, right?


So this year it's 18. Next year it's 23 or something like that.

Correct. Right now, my target is 27 points for next year.

My plan is to increase the point total by 50% every year, unless that starts to get funky. It will probably slow down as we go on.

Yeah... I don't know how you will divide out the teams.

I'd think there either needs to be bidding for them, or the names need to be drawn at complete random.

Yes, trades can be made between keepers are made and the draft.

Not sure of the logistics of pulling that off via Yahoo, but we can keep track of it and make changes afterwards if needed.
