What a classy bunch.

The guy was calling low strikes for both teams. He wasn't as generous with outside corners for either team, but by the pitch tracker, was accurate with it. I think the most generous low strike I saw called was against a Ranger hitter in the 8th.

If anyone has an issue with how this game was called behind the plate, then they should have a problem 162 games a year.

6 games into the season and for 3.5 million, Asdrubal Cabrera was a great pick up. This may be blasphemous but he probably will be more productive than Beltre would have been if he had decided to return.

Offensively that may be the case. I think he's a level below on defense but then you did have to always wonder if AB was going to be able to go from day to day.
