Miller is going to be the next pitcher that gets the Axe.
Matt Bush should be ready pretty soon.

I think the rangers expected a hit rate of 1 out of 3 on the Tommy John projects. Unfortunately, it's looking like they struck out and all 3 of them suck.Aggie_3 said:

I'm no MD, but it's probably a 10% chance or less at this point.KT 90 said:Grapesoda2525 said:I think the rangers expected a hit rate of 1 out of 3 on the Tommy John projects. Unfortunately, it's looking like they struck out and all 3 of them suck.Aggie_3 said:

Saw something recently that Volquez is on a throwing program and might be back a week or two after the all star break. We'll see, not getting my hopes up; I think he's done but would love to be wrong on that.
Mainly depends on how we do against the rays and Twinkies. Both will be very hard road series coming up.DannyDuberstein said:
Would love to be in position to make that post-ASB 4 game series with the Astros in Arlington very interesting.
6 of 8 coming out of the break against the Astros.DannyDuberstein said:

I think both wash and Banny gave some of their regular guys who were underperforming way too much slack. I was hoping this problem would change with woodward, but it remains to be seen.wbt5845 said:This makes me happy. Remember when the Old School Brother would role the same guys out there because "that what big league ball players do."?KT 90 said:
Still too far back to focus on the Astros.Aggie_3 said:
If things stay as is score wise we will only be 5.5 back of Houston

I just like to see us gain on a wildcard contender with each win.
If results hold, Tonight we will gain on the Red Sox and the Twinkies might do us another favor by beating the rays.
The division is still a massive stretch. Even if it looks like we can catch the Astros, I have no doubt that they will use some of their prospects to improve their team near the trade deadline and be very tough to catch.gigem1223 said:Grapesoda2525 said:Still too far back to focus on the Astros.Aggie_3 said:

Promise you this team or it's management isn't focused on just a wild card birth. Just keep winning series and they'll be there at the end.
