And that's assuming they actually play in Toronto this season. The Raptors are basing out of Florida this season. I don't know what NHL teams are doing though.

yes, I would agree that George lost the free agency sweepstakes if he ends up in Canada.

nobody really wants to play there...COVID, taxes, passports, competing against the Yankees & Red Sox, etc..,

I always find this sort of thing from athletes interesting. He's basically implying that the club hasn't done much about it, and it makes me wonder about all the different reasons. #1, would the club want to finalize all the immediate off season stuff before getting into the next round of extensions? Personally, I would think/hope if Houston wants Lance around, they won't let the 21 season end without an extension in place.

I actually don't think he'd sign a 10 year 100 M deal. I bet he could get a 5 year, 75 M deal on the open market. Then he'd only need to make 26 M more over the next 5 years to top the 100 M.

why would we give him a long term extension? when he has proven he can pitch complete seasons in consecutive years

signing a pitcher like LMJ to a deal like that is what makes bad teams bad consistently
