He is from Jersey, but he's just a very low-maintenance, quiet guy. Probably the same reason he has no interest in doing commercials or growing his personal brand even though MLB has begged him to for years. By all reports, he seems to appreciate the Angels organization and probably feels loyal to them.

We'll see if he doesn't get tired of losing in a few years and heads to the Bronx, Boston, or Philly

I gotta say, so far JV, Valdez and Urquidy are all looking fantastic. Odo was okay but if we get LMC back this rotation is gonna be filthy

Why is nIKo on the roster? There are dozens of Chris Carters out there that can hit .200 and at least run into one and launch a bomb every once in a while.

Why do we have a whiff machine who couldn't even hit enough to stick as a SS playing 1b?

He's a utility guy who can play all the IF positions. He's out there because Yuli's on maternity leave. Otherwise Diaz would be the guy in when an IF needs the day off.

Adell now 0-for-8 on the year with 6 strikeouts. Kid's a young Joey Gallo in the making.
