One of the things I find funny is the past few years it's been like, "why are they letting good 1st pitch strikes go!"
Well, the origination is going with that more aggressive swing if the first pitch is good approach and now it's "why don't we have plate discipline!"
Of course there is a middle ground, but it's funny to see how fans are never satisfied. Can't win for losing sometimes.

I remember watching the Astros swing at first pitches and not work counts the first time through the order, thinking the opposing pitcher would surely pitch a CG. Then the second time through the order they worked counts and started getting pitches to hit and knocked out a lot of pitchers by the 5th inning.
I don't remember the last time that happened where we adjusted…

Yep. Getting **** on by pitcher after pitcher, including bad ones, isn't "fans not being happy." It's you doing something wrong.
They don't adjust and it's the same reason they have so very few late inning comebacks. Unless someone balks and wild pitches the tying run in.
