Just checked the game and saw that Grossman is hitting third. And of course struck out.

If your team consistently has Robbie Grossman in the lineup, and ever hits him in the top third of the order, it will have a losing record. Guaranteed.

And to make matters worse I heard a pregame interview with him and he is a lifelong sip fan. There is very, very little for me to like about this guy.

I mean, I know the overall point you are trying to make and for the most part agree, but....

He started 99 games (twice as many as he'll start this year), with 15% of them batting in the top third of the order.

I think it's noteworthy. One of those statistically improbable events that keep it interesting. I mean, look how much hype hitting for the cycle gets when a 2 HR game probably means more for a win.

Throwing this out here since I plan on taking my boys to a Rangers game the weekend of September 20-22. I have looked online and the added fees are outrageous (shocking, I know).

Each year I take my 3 boys on a guys trip. This year we will be in the DFW area. We need 5 tickets as my brother will likely be with us. I don't care which day the tickets are for. We are open Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

I truly don't care where we sit. I just want a fair price given the seat location.

Just wait until the day of and buy tickets off seatgeak. Tickets will be very cheap for all of those games, even with it being the last series of the season. Sunday might be more expensive with a replica ring giveaway, but you should be able to find decent tickets for less than $30 a each.

Most teams do split doubleheaders so they can sell tix to both games.

But, this is CWS, so what's the point?
