Fleet Week in Baltimore. F-35s buzzing the Orioles game led to a delay in play.

The ump only paused it because he wanted to watch. I would too.

Pretty cool, but not quite as memorable as the F-4 crash I saw in 1985 while we were getting ready to play South Grand Prairie. Close enough to see the huge mushroom cloud when it crashed. Amazing nobody hurt on the ground, and the pilot and navigator safely ejected. Being that close to Hensley NAS we were used to loud jets, but this one was particularly loud. Coach was giving us the pregame pep talk and we looked up to see the plane doing a barrel roll with a blue flame coming out of one of the engines.

We had something similar happen to us on a golf trip in Scottsdale. We were playing Dinosaur Mountain and around the 11th hole 2 F-35's started buzzing the canyons all around this. The entire course stopped play and watched for a good 5 minutes. It was pretty damn cool

I've hunted in the Capitan Mountains east of Holloman AFB and it's pretty normal for them to use that area for a racetrack. Pretty awesome to be still hunting or sitting in ambush for elk or mule deer and get to watch the show every 30 minutes or so.
