Trash fans. I've never seen anything like that before. Man I hate the Dodgers but I'm praying for a sweep after Cashman's comments and seeing that idiocy.

After the Dodgers led the Yankees 2-0 in the top of the 1st inning, the Yankees outscored the Dodgers 11-2 during the rest of the game to crush the Yankees 11-4, avoid elimination, and force a Game 5.

Final: Effin' Dodgers 7 - Damn Yankees 6 (LAD wins the Series 4-1)

Judge finally has a great game at the plate and it all goes for not.

This dude has some serious issues, and NO WAY he should be allowed back for the rest of the series.

"Capobianco, a Yankees season-ticket holder, said he knew he would be in trouble but chose to grab and open Betts' glove nonetheless, telling ESPN that he and Peter often discuss this exact scenario: If a foul ball comes their way, they're going to do what they can to help their team…..

We always joke about the ball in our area," Capobianco, 38, said at a local bar after the game. "We're not going to go out of our way to attack. If it's in our area, we're going to 'D' up.

"Someone defends, someone knocks the ball. We talk about it. We're willing to do this.""

"Capobianco and Peter were escorted out of Yankee Stadium but said they were told they would be allowed back for Game 5 on Wednesday. The Yankees did not immediately respond to ESPN's request for comment regarding if that was indeed the case."

His non-remorseful response should prompt MLB or the Yankees to take immediate action that results in a lifetime ban.

MLB wants Yankees fans banned from Game 5 after Mookie Betts interference
https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2024/10/30/yankees-fans-ejected-mookie-betts-interference-return-world-series/75937737007/
Quote:

The two New York Yankees fans who were ejected from Game 4 on Tuesday night for interfering with Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts could be back in their seats down the right field line for tonight's game.

According to ESPN, season-ticket holder Austin Capobianco, who grabbed Betts' glove with both hands and tried to rip the ball out, was told he and his friend John Peter would be allowed back in the ballpark for Game 5.

But a Major League Baseball official told USA TODAY Sports that Copabianco's claim is inaccurate, and that the league is communicating with the Yankees to convey that they want both fans banned from Wednesday night's Game 5. They will be refunded the cost of their tickets.

They've been banned from tonight's game, tickets refunded, and told they will be arrested if they try to enter the stadium. Personally, I think they shouldn't get a refund, and just let that serve as a stark reminder to not interfere.

That refund should have not been given and instead gotten donated to a charity of Mookie Betts choice IMO.

Perfect. And they should miss some of next year too. It needs to be far more punitive for that level of ass-hattery

One of the guys said he's hoping he doesn't lose the season tickets, so it sounds like that's still a possibility.

They probably should have already lost them for next year, but maybe making them sweat it out is part of the punishment

Would be ironic for the Yankees to come back down 0-3 a few weeks after they just released the Red Sox Netflix documentary about the 0-3 comeback

It would be the most painful way for the Effin' Dodgers to lose a WS and I'd be all for it except that it would make the Damn Yankees the first team to comeback from an 0-3 deficient in World Series History. I'm so torn.

I'd love to see the Yankees force game 7 and get walked off

That Jomboy reaction would give me so much joy

What would be ironic is if the Yankees came back to tie it at 3-3, and right at the beginning of Game 7, there's a massive earthquake and whole state of California falls into the Pacific, taking the Yankees organization with them... Wait, ironic isn't the right word... Satisfying. Satisfying is the word I am looking for to describe my ending.
