This is my view, but I would say double damn good for Dana. The Astros have more important needs for that pile of cash.
I have no ill will for Bregman, and I am grateful for his fingerprints on our trophy, but he's the competition now.
Again, if he had no intention of signing with Houston, then the story get a little slimy. Maybe that ends with Boras, but Bregman let him do it. I'm all for getting your nut, but I don't have to wish you all the best if you used me to get it elsewhere.

See, he didn't cripple Houston at all. That's my thing. They made their offer months ago and they went about their offseason the same way they would have regardless. I don't think he used them like some think he did.
