Pretty hard to make a case against it when Meyers and Chas have OPS below .500 and Smith has an OPS 2 full points higher (2.4) against the same pitching. We shall see. I think Dana has a more aggressive mindset of prospect promotion when they are thriving. He isn't going to push the envelope if he doesn't think a guy is ready, but I don't think he has the let them marinate for x-number of games at each level just 'cuz.
I think Cam will be here as soon as (1) he is deemed to be promotable without risk of stunting development or confidence and (2) opportunity presents itself in terms of the performance (or lack thereof) of the guys on the ML roster

A lot of his damage is coming late in games against no name pitching. He needs at least a month or two in the minors before he comes up.

I would wager he's playing LF at any stadium. The thought didn't even cross my mind and I doubt it's crossed Altuve's.
