I guess this card is one a kind and has a patch that Skenes wore in his debut.
30 years of Pirates tickets behind home plate is a heck of a lot of games, but undrestandable for someone his age to pass on. He wouldn't be able to go very much until he was a good bit older and I doubt there's a ton of scalping night to night there.

He's only 11 - if he were 13+, the exclusive experience with Skenes' girlfriend hanging out in her suite for a game probably would have sealed the deal.

Or wait until the Pirates salary dump Skenes in a few years and he ends up with the Dodgers.

Frankly, the Pirates are just so, so terrible - for most of my life - that their offer would only make sense if the card finder was IN Pennsylvania

Smart move by tbe kid. If it were my kid you sell it and put that money in a good investment account and you're set for a lot of things in life.

An 11 year old with $1.1M... women like her will be a dime a dozen... HS kid driving up in a BMW... porsche... Lambo... they'll see lots of gold to dig up.

"Dime a dozen"? Really? The woman who was one of the top NIL athletes in the nation the last few years? Maybe the kid could discuss with her investment options, but no...there are not a ton of Livvy Dunnes running around.
