So what's the real probability Paredes can return with rehab and the platelet shots? Presumably it's good enough to postpone surgical option?
Any MDs on here?

and then immediately get hurt again, get surgery, and be out for two years.

Yeah, I get a player's mindset to want to try to return and avoid surgery but seems like delaying the inevitable

My only experience with this is a coworker's son played hoops for Navy and did the same thing. He made it back faster than if he had surgery and he was fine. Anecdotal and a sample size of one so do with that what you will.

Yordan still playing tee ball?
As someone who played high school ball I completely understand wanting to try to come back this year. I would try to do the same thing if I were in his situation. I've just noticed that in recent years, it seems that this hasn't worked out very well for us. But maybe I'm misremembering. Either way I hope he is able to make it back healthy this year.AggiEE said:The Sun said:BadAggie said:Gandalf the Maroon said:He'll definitely return…BadAggie said:

Seems like it's random, so I think being conservative is fine.
Doctors can tend to want to over prescribe surgery
Yeah it may delay his start next year but it's worth the risk imho. We tend to want certainty with these medical decisions but truth is that doesn't exist in a lot of cases

That'll give Hunter Brown 6 days rest in b/w starts presuming he gets the start Friday night at the Yankees. Gives Arrighetti 5 days rest since his 79-pitchrehab start last Thursday. https://t.co/cTTWpdL7ft
