I just love that we have either here is soon to be here: Framber, HB, Arrighetti, LMJ, Wesneski, CJ, LuAce, Pornstache, Gordon, Walter and Alexander (and I guess Blubaugh) and are having to glue together guys to pitch the next 2 days.

It's just insane.

How about we not see any more AA/AAA guys until spring training? I think we have reached our limit.

Maybe Seattle can try running out 4 random AA guys in 6 games for a while.

I have seen some guys hyping him up on X. It looks like he's another pitcher who doesn't overwhelm with stuff, but gets swing and misses with high spin, low approach heaters, and average breaking stuff to complement.

He's pretty behind on his development and has been a disappointment overall so far.

The hope would be that a four year college guy who was drafted in the first round would be able to have an OPS over .800 in A-ball. And I've heard he hasn't progressed quite as fast as hoped defensively a well.

Still early and everyone develops at their own pace though.

"Chose not to extend" or "canned. Same result. A gm won a WS and was gone the very next season.

Just saying firing Boone after winning a pennant would not be unprecedented.

If that's how the org feels sounds like trading him might not have been a terrible idea. Now if they thought it was just too much for a cease rental that's fine.

I get this board's relationship with Jomboy and I understand why. Regardless, the breakdowns are the best thing he does, and I would argue, are the best baseball short form content going at the moment.

They would have had no problem flipping him for Cease, but the Padres were asking for too much as a whole.

I agree. Just that firing Click was free compared to Boone's buyout (assuming here). I think it's safe to say Click was a better GM than Boone is a manager.

Friars wanted wayyyy to much for a short term rental. Cease is auditioning for the Yankees or the Doyers the rest of the season anyway.

This video isn't complaining about the Astros.
the title alone is a click age for the umpires not punishing the Astros the way they should. Combine that with he recent video about the neris situation against Boston and the trend of click hate headlines is clear
