I really appreciate what the bullpen did tonight, but I still feel like this team is one ELITE bullpen arm from being full blown contenders. I know I know 2023 we didn't have one. But that bullpen completely over performed in the playoffs.

Good news is, CY is legit at Gm.

Agreed. And I really really like him. Just hope he's ready for it at this level. Bullpen brings on extra pressure. Especially if we're wanting him to be the closer.

I've seen him lay off a few this series that he would have swung out of his shoes at in the past. I like his approach much better.

I've mentioned his development.

He has been a part of the Radio broadcast and Nadel and Hicks have done a great job with him... and he seems to have a genuine relationship with them.

He is solid and comes across as someone who works his butt off.

I think they're going to see what they have currently and in the minors before making a move. Bullpen was pretty good this weekend, giving up 2 runs over 11 innings.

Regarding the bullpen, I think the Rangers really have to have some guys they've developed step up and be somebody (looking at you Church). You can't just go out and pay for significant bullpen help year after year after year. A couple pieces? Sure. But you've got to be able to supply your bullpen with cheap, homegrown talent, and we can't right now. They don't have to be Josh Hader, Devin Williams or Tanner Scott, but they do need to be guys we can trust back there.

Dave's voice is annoying. He still says dumb things with frequency. Couple that with I pretty much hated the change from the old booth and I'd be fine with him moving on as soon as possible.

Dave Raymond's home run calls have always gotten on my nerves. Seems like he is always the last person to realize it and then yells "GONE!!!" as people in the stands are fighting over the ball.
