Well what a stinker. Glad I was unable to watch. Between Mahle and Rockers outings, the BP is getting taxed. Not terribly concerned since we have several major league ready arms in the AAA BP. Wouldn't be surprised if there's some shuffling soon if this continues. Really need at least 1 of Mahle and Rocker to get their sh** together.

Agreed. Mahle seemed like he had good stuff but could not find the zone, and Rocker did not have any issues with the zone, location, location, location.

Because of some of the antics of the Rays... there is a limit to the number of "shuffles" you can do with a player.

I think you can only send a player down 5 times in a season. I thought it was 3, but apparently 5.

I think Rocker gets at least two more GS to see if he has more success.

Yeah I'm not worried. Games like this happen in a season, and Bochy punted on this one EARLY. Offense does need to start going, though.

ETA: I also believe Rocker should be at AAA. Not because he can't be good, but because he needs to continue to hone his pitches etc. Just needs more time imo.

Dunning, Mahle, and PTBNL from #6-10 prospects (rumored to be Dylan Dreiling). SDPs takes Dunning+Mahle salary and add on additional $5M in salary from Cease.

Not really.

Mahle is a FA after the season and paid what Mahle is making.

Dunning is ... as of now... a minor league RP making $2-3M.

Dreiling struggled in his 1st season.
