Heim was on 2nd because Heim got a hit. Kinda silly to say he shouldn't be out there at all.

That being said, Bochy is going to Bochy. He is always reluctant to pull a catcher. Thats not uncommon among managers.

It's just a bad spot to send him. The ball was very hard hit.

Loss is 100% on defense and Boch's decision making IMO. Clearly the better team. Big pitching advantage the next 2 nights. Need to take advantage.

I get that you want Adolis playing against HOU. Id bring him out of assisted living if I had to. But Bochy had a chance to bench Osuna or Helman. I don't even know how a stoned monkey could mess that up.

Should have been Duran out there anyway. Osuna contributed very little, and Duran has a canon.

I don't disagree that Helman probably should've played over Osuna, but looking at the season stats is misleading and probably didn't factor into the decision as much as this….

in the last 15 games, Helman is hitting .304 with an OBP of .360. In Osuna's last 15, he's hitting .306 with a .390 OBP. Not much of a difference there, and I would think what they've done lately factors into the decision a lot more than how they were doing earlier in the season. Just something to consider.
