This team sucks
Had radio on for the two homers and watched the last two AB's lucky me
Ready for the offseason. Hoping we pick up a new right fielder and catcher. Maybe another big bat that can play 1B/DH.
Would love to see the asstros miss the playoffs. I can take a little solace in that. Let's hope Cleveland sweeps us and they keep losing.

Ironic that this could be my motivation for watching the final series. Houston took care of business against us, but they haven't been a good team for 3 months and don't deserve a ticket to the dance. Most of their fans know it. With the Rangers' stagnant offense, the inability to press any advantage is frustrating, but Seattle is clearly the best team in the division right now, and Cleveland deserves a WC or division with the way they've played. Even if I liked Houston I'd have to admit that it's been a mirage of a season.

Merrill Kelly has brought nothing and Danny coloumbe was decent for like three games. He brought the disaster that was 9th inning against d'backs. I actually wouldn't mind bringing maton back next season.

Drake and Bratt have both been mediocre (or bad) since landing in Arizona. And in Drake's case, he'll be 26 next season. It's doubtful that trade ends up being something we regret.
Yeah, I think they had enough of a read on those guys that they were pretty confident they were sending future JAGs

are we still talking about guys that cant run cough seager cough…. but for about 25 million more per yr than garcia????

I'm not happy with Adolis' production, but I've never seen him not play the game hard. He went in standing up on a bizarre play at 2nd a few months ago, but it was an understandable mistake. He's an example of playing the game the right way, from everything I've seen. Same way with Semien. Unfortunately they both seem washed up offensively.

You say that as if we aren't still going to get hosed. I'm sure they'll have a "Langford Zone" just so he can still freeze to death on the slider 2 inches off the plate.
This system is going to suck. We're a pitching heavy team with starters that rely heavily on pinpoint accuracy and borderline pitches.

I would suggest you watch how it works in the minors. That's how it will work in the majors and it's a hell of a lot better than what they have now, which is human umpires that have zero accountability having to eyeball 200-300 pitches a night coming from dudes throwing upper 90's with a lot of movement and pinpoint control.
The current system sucks. The minor league system is better. The major leagues will now use what the minor leagues are using. That is a positive, in my opinion.
