I would hope CY is having some serious conversations with NY about the replays. I'm trying not to be biased but it's been incredibly one sided against the rangers so far.
I know we're only a week and a half into the season but we really need to create some separation between us and the rest of the West.
Wash has Anaheim playing really well right now, we'll see if they can keep it up. Houston will come around and Seattle has pitching. It's going to be a slog.

Not worried about the rest of the division. More worried about our pitching health and bats coming around. If those two things happen we'll win the division.

And I'm really not worried about this division either. Houston is not that good, the Angels will win 75 games per usual and Seattle is ok. I think the A's could actually come in second in the division.

In the late 90's I watched the Stars score 3 goals in about 90sec tontie a game. It was crazy wild.

It's late in the season and Vancouver is playing for a playoff spot. Stars have likely clinched home ice for much of the playoffs and winning at this point is less important than getting ready for the playoffs.
Also, I think the Stars are built more for scoring than defense. I could be wrong, but that is my thought.

I suspect it would be Dustin Harris. Makes the most sense, he's on the 40, plays OF, 1B and 3B in a pinch, and is off to a good start.

Osuna is hitting .111 at AA, plus he's not on the 40. That would make him unlikely IMO.

I mean from a bat perspective Blaine Crim is tearing the cover off the ball….but he plays 1st base. In the outfield you've got Hauver and Dustin Harris, but those guys are simply just guys. Crim is a guy too, but he actually might be able to give you some competitive at-bats and hit the ball hard on occasion.
You're probably going to have to get creative defensively because we really don't have anyone that can replace Langford on the field. Joc has been an outfielder for a large portion of his career, but do you really want to be stick him out there? Not unless you've got a super short porch behind him. And he's useless at the plate right now.
I'd lean Harris being called up and just riding pine and is a break in case of emergency guy.

Osuna is not on the 40. Harris is a good name. Could also be Ornelas and make Smith the everyday LF. Let's hope we don't find out.
Maybe out Josh Smith in LF and bring up Crim? He could be a better bat than Joc right now
That's why I think it would be Harris. True, he's JAG but he can hit a bit and has speed. A 40 spot would have to be created for Crim, and I don't think they'd want to do that assuming Langford would be out for the minimum (10 days).

This is probably what I would do just because we need some offense, although late night was really good. Also burger has done nothing too and Crim could give Burger some days off.
Good point. Didn't even think about Crim not being on the 40. It's probably Harris then.
Best case I think right now is for today's game to get rained out, off day tomorrow and hopefully whatever tightness Langford was experiencing resides and he's good to go this weekend.
Chances they make them play Thursday?
