That's how I remember him.

I lived in the Heights and spent many a nights down at Enron…errr…Minute Maid.

Sad deal. Nobody is immune to these kinds of tragedies.

Nelson Cruz's sister also died.

I remember playing in a golf tournament the day after that 6-pitcher no-hitter and Larry Dierker came and sat at our table for lunch before the start. I mentioned that in 1 inning, Dotel accomplished 2 things that will probably never be broken: the 6-man no-no + he struck out 4 batters in his inning. The Wrangler then said he has seen someone throw 5 K's in 1 IP but it was in spring training (so not in the record books). Joe Niekro on the mound and Cliff Johnson behind the plate. "It was the perfect storm."
