I'm considering taking my 15 year old baseball-playing son to Surprise AZ during part of Spring Break. For some Texas Rangers spring baseball. Anyone have any feedback on that trip? Father - son experiences? Considering now and also looking at a quick ski trip.

I live across the valley from Surprise so I'm near the Cubs, A's, Giants and Diamondbacks. If y'all love baseball I can't recommend it highly enough. I'd suggest staying in town rather than out west for more things to do. It's easy to get to all 15 teams here.

Arizona Snowbowl has had a lot of snow and expecting more this week.

It's snowed about a foot in northern Arizona this week and expecting up to another foot today and tomorrow.
