Still just kind of shocking to me that a guy who catches dozens of sliders every single game has so much difficulty recognizing one coming out of a pitchers hand when he is batting.

I'm thinking there's a shot this team will make a deep run this year. Every team is going to lose so many pitchers to injuries and fatigue with all the sliders they'll be throwing against us.

Losing streaks happen all the time, but it feels infinitely worse when it's the first two games of the season. I will feel fine as long as we're not worse than 7-19

yes, it was concerning that once Cam hit the wall in July...

he didn't have any kind of bounce back at the end of the season

he was done after July 1st
